• Information you provide directly: when you fill in our Contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the message you send us.
• Information sent via WhatsApp: our product and "Chat with us" buttons open a WhatsApp conversation with our team. Any message you send that way is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy — we only see what you choose to send us within that chat.
• Automatically collected information: like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.
• Local browser storage: we use your browser's local storage to remember products you've recently viewed and your selected currency display. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Cookies from third-party features: our website uses the Google Website Translator widget, which may set cookies from Google to remember your language preference. See Section 5 below.

We do not currently process online payments or maintain customer login accounts on this website, so we do not collect payment card details or account passwords from visitors.

• Google, for the Website Translator widget and Google Maps embed on our Contact page;
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, where required by applicable Indian law.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies, primarily set by the Google Website Translator widget to remember your chosen language, and by Google Maps on our Contact page. We do not use these cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website features may not work as intended if you do.

6. Data Storage and Security

Information submitted through our Contact form is stored using industry-standard, access-controlled infrastructure (Supabase, hosted on secure cloud servers), and is accessible only to authorised Turbo Tech Engineers staff who log in with individually issued, securely stored credentials. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain Contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and for our internal business records, after which they may be deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion of your information as described in Section 9 below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are intended for businesses and individuals engaged in vehicle and machinery maintenance, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and subject to its rules coming into effect, you have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you, and access to that information;
• Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request erasure of your personal information, where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected;
• Withdraw any consent you previously gave, at any time;
• Register a grievance regarding how we handle your information, using the contact details in Section 13.

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time, in line with applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website links to third-party platforms including WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, IndiaMART, and TradeIndia. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites — please review their respective privacy policies before sharing information with them.
